Abby Siegel has worked for more than 24 years as a college guidance counselor, preparing high school students for success in college. After graduating from
Vanderbilt University
in Nashville, Tennessee, Abby moved to Chicago, Illinois. She attended graduate school at
Loyola University Chicago,
where she obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed) degree in College Student Personnel and a Type 73 certificate in School Counseling. While at Loyola, Abby completed a graduate externship in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and counseled incoming first-year students. She also completed a practicum in the Office of Greek Affairs at
Northwestern University. Abby satisfied her School Counseling practicum requirement during her year-long internship at
Highland Park High School
under the guidance of Jim Alexander, former President of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (
NACAC). In addition, Abby received a Type 03 certificate in Elementary Education from
DePaul University
in Chicago.
